Description

Thornhow Crag – Pink Herdwick Fabric

Cable and Blake’s Herdwick fabrics are designed and created in the northern parts of the UK, where possible within the Lake District.

Our fleece and yarn is sourced from local farmers in the Lake District who are experienced breeders of the much loved Herdwick sheep.  The fabric is produced in the Yorkshire Dales where fleeces are spun into yarn and this yarn is woven on traditional hand looms creating the cloth, from Crag to Cloth.  The cloth is then dyed and finished by experts in their fields to create a sumptuous Herdwick fabric, Fabric of the Lakes, for our customers to purchase.

We  have designed two digital prints which are brought to life within Cable and Blake’s studios, Kendal and have been inspired by the Lake District’s iconic landscape and lakes.

Cable and Blake are proud to offer a unique Herdwick woollen fabric that is produced to the highest quality locally, ensuring the minimum carbon footprint.
