Our fleece and yarn is sourced from local farmers in the Lake District, who are experienced breeders of the much-loved Herdwick Sheep.
The cloth is then dyed and finished by experts in their fields to create sumptuous Herdwick Fabrics of the Lakes, for our customers to purchase.

Sandbed Ghyll is a tactile Herdwick wool which is inherently Fire Retardant (FR) for Domestic upholstery or soft furnishing and can be further treated to meet Contract standards.
